With no formalized emergency medical care training in most of Africa, MSS has developed programs aimed at identifying individuals who have the potential to be trained and up-skilled in western standard emergency care.
Programs include:
Emergency medical skills assessments and gap analysis
Preparation to enable healthcare practitioner to successfully complete courses such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)
Intermediate / Advanced Life Support training and skills transfer
Mentorship programs
